Reassurance Poem by Yvonne M. Beseler

Reassurance

Your troubles, My Friend,
Are such a burden to you.
Please, let me help,
Tell me what to do!

How can I make your sun shine
And chase away the gloom?
I'd give anything to see
Your soft smile in bloom.

Would you like me to listen
As night slips into day?
Or should I hold you close
While you cry your fears away. 3

Uncertainty is worse
Than any fear, I know
Since it's from uncertainty
So many of our fears grow.

If my presence can
Reassure you in any way,
Be assured that with you
I will always stay.
