When my sorrows are high
And when I leave a sigh
She will be there
To make me aware
That the sorrows now
Will once bow

She is my pal
And hears my call
When I am in need
She is the lead.
My heart is soundless
And our friendship is boundless.

I have no worries
And no sorries
Because she is here
Where I am there
She stands in my front
Cause she is my friend.

She is my only hope
And throws me the rope
When i have fallen
And gets me pullen
She is always in my sight
And often holds me tight
And I know that
A friend in need is
A friend indeed.
