Mona Lisa Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Mona Lisa

Mon Lisa

I was there yesterday
On Carlton and Jarvis
Recorded the parade
Called "Pride"
Church was locked.

I was my camera
I agree, disagree
Was not there.

Recorded also dogs
They ran to catch a ball
It was nice, velvet soft
Mona-Lisa in the Louvre
She, alive on the roof
And in sight
Bastard saw…Leonard.

A man sat in kneeling, squat
Right index pointed:
"That is horse, she Mounty, "
He told dogs, they watched scene
Carefully
Cautiously
Curious
Attentive
They looked bulls.

Childless man had two dogs
Relation was velvet, very soft
It was a Mona-Lisa, Leonard's.
