Monalisa Smile Poem by xolisa stuurman

Monalisa Smile

I ran a bubble bath for him
Lit a candle with a scent of honey
Made him feel special with my own money
He gave me a smile
And i thought he was happy...

I made a dish for him
Though i've never cooked all my life,
But when i did for him
I felt like a chef in a brasto
Making magic in the kitchen,
All tasteful breakfast, branch and dinner
He gave me a smile
And i thought he was happy...

Gave my possessions as a sign of sharing
Lost my mind as a token of love
Gave all, was drained and not a dose of love was left for me.

Tonight i ran a bubble bath for me
Lit a candle and it burned brightly
Prepared a meal though familiar
The taste was that of a lifetime
For the 1st time i smile for me...
And i was happy...
