Monster Poem by William Williams

Monster

Rating: 5.0

Some hide under the bed,
And some hide in the dark,
But the one I fear most,
Lives in my heart.

There's a monster inside
And he wants to get out.
To feed on his desires
And to run about.

It can only bring pain
Wherever it goes.
Why I'm so afraid,
No one else knows.

This monster is not new.
It has torn me apart,
And this monster can be found
Living in my heart.
