Moody Charlie Poem by Francis Duggan

Moody Charlie

Some days Charlie seems the happiest man in the town
And others days he is sad faced and in spirits seem down
By the nickname of Moody Charlie he is known
When out of sorts he drinks in the pub on his own
But when in a good mood he always joins in the pub's hour of song
And is always a leader in the sing along
He is slightly bipolar some of him does say
When Charlie is in a good mood he smiles through the day
But when feeling down he is silent and feeling sad
There are two sides to Charlie the morose and the glad
Known as Moody Charlie on his side of the town
He is smiling on his good days and looking sad when he is down
A man of moods Charlie of him one can say
Single in his mid twenties and as single he will stay.
