Moon Poem by RIC BASTASA

Moon

lady of the night
so silent in the sky
descending through
the river and sitting on
the marsh
so soft and gentle
as i wade through the water
as i rise and sit on the
bank bathing to your
yellow light.

how i wish she arrives
tonight for another round

of worship

to the moon in the sky
descending and sitting
on the marshes of the
river....
