Moonlight Poem by Felix Lugo

Moonlight

Rating: 1.0

How can I forget under the moonlight where we first met.
We walked through the dark where we shared out thoughts.
We talked but not much.
But was touched by the way you spoke that night.
The way you said you would like to meet a guy that would treat you right.
I never knew that person would be me looking
into your beautiful eyes, telling you that you are the greatest person
I ever met in my life.
The thought of seeing you go would
be taking a part of my soul.
So please don’t go.
