Moonlight And Lovers (Shakespearean Sonnet) Poem by ashok jadhav

Moonlight And Lovers (Shakespearean Sonnet)

Beneath the moon, our shadows softly blend,
As silver light adorns each tender glance;
The night grows kind, a confidant and friend,
And grants our beating hearts their sacred chance.
The moon, a watchful witness from above,
Draws quiet halos round thy gentle face;
Its borrowed glow reflects the shape of love,
And turns our fleeting hour to timeless grace.
No sun could bless us with such calm delight,
Nor day reveal what darkness dares to show;
For in this hush, made holy by the night,
Our truest selves in whispered closeness grow.
O moonlit hours, so tender, pure, and true,
Let love shine on, as stars and hearts pursue.
