Moonlit Dance With Death Poem by Timothy Lee Hollandsworth Jr.

Moonlit Dance With Death

Rating: 5.0

We are in a time of decay.
The winds die down
And the earth rots away.
The fires will not burn,
The ocean's will not stir.
Hope, like crystal, shatters.

Tie together destinies
Fulfill age old prophecies.
To divert the atrocity.

Stay with me, under the moonlight.
Walk with me, in the courtyard we'll dance.

Man is strong in desperation,
Numbers of the desperate increase.
They will fight for preservation,
but the world will quickly cease.
Stricken by poverty in a land that's bare,
No reason left to worry, no reason left to care.
Then man's weakness is seen by all.
That is when man falls.

String together the fates
Of all men, of all traits.
Harmony comes with a clean slate.

Stay with me, under the moonlight.
Walk with me, in the courtyard we'll dance.
Come with me, I am Death.
