Morbid Ambition Poem by Kctony Xtopher Nkwocha

Morbid Ambition

My determination is ephemeral
Earlier than now, it was sacrosanct
Like it will live adinfinitum.
Now, I live a life of renege.
What behooves me I don’t know.
Giant- sized enormous phallus has pierced
The hymen of my strivings
Making me look petite
With a modicum of life.
In acquiescence to less success
I have been pulverized to sordidness.
Brazenly failure confronts me.
Though, a corollary in my world,
I know my aim, adininterim, is disease positive.
