More Than Botox Beauty Poem by Connie Webb

More Than Botox Beauty

I may have some wrinkles
My stomach isn't 'so' flat
I lost all my teeth
Somtimes I think I'm 'so' fat.
I am fifty
Not so young anymore
You can see my gray hair
But I have more to explore;
Than the way I look
There is much more to me
I have an intelligent mind
And an interesting history.
I have survived many things
Grown stronger every time
I'm not a supermodel
But I'm doing just fine.
Raised two children
With love and care
Even though some times were rough
Beautiful memories we still share.
I am not rich
I am just me
Who I am inside
Means more than Botox beauty.
