Morgan's Poem Poem by Shawn Caine Hampton

Morgan's Poem

The innocence i can plainly see.
In this child who looks like me.

She's so sweet and very kind.
How i love this child of mine.

When i'm home i watch her play.
And hear the words she'll sometimes say.

Her long curly hair is so dark brown.
Her deep dark eyes can erase my frown.

Someday soon she'll grow and leave.
Doing amazing things you won't believe.

Until then spoiled she'll be.
Just you leave that up to me.

So as i watch my flower bloom.
I know she'll grow up way too soon.

Til she does i'll enjoy this time.
And never stop loving this daughter of mine.
