Morning Glory Poem by Sanjukta Nag

Morning Glory

Rising golden rays
Peeping through the curtain
Unlock some shadows
And thoughts uncertain.
Some shivering aurora
Upon your spine
Lifting the ambience
Above cloud nine.
Here’s a bit of laziness
Swimming on the bed
Sunshine touches
Your fair forehead.
Flushed silky cheeks
Honey coloured eyes
Inside the mind
Jazzy butterflies.
Connected breaths
Entangled hands
Did inane things
That were unplanned.
A bluish sight
Of the morning glory
Gives me a flash of
Our midnight story.

The veiled morning light revives in mind the memory of a romantic experience of the night! A very suggestive image!

The morning sunshine brings the world to life and when it touches your forehead, you start 'swimming on the bed'. Amazing poem and a wonderful imagery.
