Morning, Noon And Night. Poem by Pauline Waweru

Morning, Noon And Night.

As the cock crows with excitement,
And the morning breeze gently blows,
I arise with you on my mind.
Minutes and hours pass by but never do i tire to hold you dear in my heart.

The sun is at its hottest,
My body beaten by the mid day heat, but darling my heart is ever fresh renewed by the love that enjoins us.

As the stars twinkle,
And the moon shines,
And darkness spreads itself out,
I gleam and glow from inside out. I'm in the center of light, a light ignited from two loving hearts.

I close my eyes as the day ends, a content smile on my face, satisfied that i am loved and cherished.
