Morning's Glory Poem by Stuart Doggett

Morning's Glory

I know there’s something missing,
It wakes me at sunrise,
I open my eyes just wishing,
Sending prayers to empty skies,
My arms are left longing
To hold you as we lie,
While I await a future blessing;
To wake up, staring into your eyes.
