Morning Song Poem by Malcolm Evison

Morning Song

The large whites demonstrate
flirtatious flying

red dragonfly reflects
a darting counterpoint

to food frenzied
goldfish

the morning radiates
pure energy

unlocks
my heavy-lidded eyes.
