Morningbird Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Morningbird

A quiet morning hums in blue,
The sky still soft with borrowed hue,
A single bird cuts through the air,
As if it knows what's waiting there.

The coffee steams, the world feels slow,
Time stretches thin, then lets you go,
And in that space, so small, so wide,
You meet the thoughts you tend to hide.

A passing breeze, a shifting light,
Turns ordinary into bright,
Reminds you gently, without demand,
That life is more than what you've planned.

So take the moment as it is,
No need to chase, no need to miss,
For even stillness has a voice —
And in its hush, you make your choice.
