Most Vicious Kind Of Hunting Poem by Saiom Shriver

Most Vicious Kind Of Hunting

A deer perhaps grazing
in fields of yarrow
was skewered by a hunter
with his bow and arrow
Did the stalker shoot
right through her marrow
She missed immediate
death by inches narrow

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Footnote: Some actually call themselves
'Christian bowhunters' as if the
Good Shepherd would countenance
inflicting this kind of pain
