Mostly Filled With Naught Poem by Stanley Cooper

Mostly Filled With Naught

My head’s mostly filled with naught
A very empty-head-ed guy am I
Can’t remember what I ought
Most valued thoughts have said goodbye

It’s not really all that bad
I’ve overstated my condition
I’m just an old and tired lad
Whose youth has long been in remission

This mood I know will soon be gone
The sun will shine once more on me
Its’ warmth will help me carry on
And I’ll get back my boyhood glee
