Mother Poem by jay mutinda

Mother

Rating: 5.0

She cries as she bears not the pain,
roaring with the sound thats bound never to be forgotten,
yet she smiles as the pain is begotten with a baby.
She unleashes her breath,
a sign that symbolizes a cease to her fear.
tender, lovingly, she holds her baby,
emotions run through her but more is yet to come!
she recalls a saying in her culture,
'giving birth is not as hard as raising a child'.
