Mother Africa Poem by Ben waweru Kamau

Mother Africa

Far and wide she lies
Her body full of life and happiness
With eyes that glitters
And tears that never ends

Her children drinks from her tears
From Victoria to kush
With abundance she flourish
And grace that never ends

Oh mother Africa
Where will I go
When your children abandon you
After your eyes are dry
And you no longer cry

Where will I hide
From the scorching sun
When your head is bald and desolate
Where will I go mother Africa
