Mother Came Too Poem by Gil Tee

Mother Came Too

Rating: 5.0

This has quite a catchy tune. Shame about the lyrics.

Do you remember when there was just us two,
All those years ago when we said 'I do'?
But if you'd only known how bad it would be,
I guess you'd never even have dreamt of marrying me.

We were so happy then, but it didn't last,
Now that happiness is a thing of the past.
And if I'd only known that your mum would come too,
I guess I'd never even have dreamt of marrying you.
