Mother Earth Poem by Tribhuvan Mendiratta

Mother Earth

Swish - Slash - voice of Earth;
Expressing her agony.
Each blade of grass,
Banyan tree, and bit of mud,
Even stick and stone
Oozing blood with twisted muscles,
Torn skin and fractured bones.
She pleads like Mom
To make every day
Mother Earth day.
