Mother Of Pearl Poem by Ruben Tover

Mother Of Pearl

Pearl's Mom passed away last night.
In the early warm afternoon light,
We got the message on a texted cell,
The phone had an unusual ringing bell.

She said, "What……..! "
I could see the grief in her eyes.
Mother of Pearl has lived her life.
It's time to say our goodbyes.

I recall all the memories.
With the Lord she will be.
Around and round the Circle of Life.
Now it's time to hug my wife…
