Refuses to wrap itself around English words, so the strong Arab accent sits heavily in her mouth when she speaks.
Fifteen years later, all six of her children speak English

A sad poem, most countries are built on bloodshed, keeping mother tongue is very important, it conveys thoughts and culture to continue, refugees should not be assimilated to the standards of those who take them in, but sadly this is not the case, I thank you for posting and hope you find peace.
