Mother You Suffered Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Mother You Suffered

And Mother you suffered so much,
So much to bear him
To raise him so much
And
You had no other alternatives but tragedies
I saw an unmoving child and a mother weep

And as they did to the Christ
To him e do now
A Passion! A Passion and long!
Longer than Passion of Christ!

Barren, black, bleak and chill
And solitude
Solitude
Solitude
Heart broken
Hart broken only
Aching.
