Mothers Poem Poem by judith parsons

Mothers Poem

your support and love was always a given
with plenty to share for all of us here
if sometimes a little extra was needed
you always found strength to battle us through
love and sadness work together with fun and laughter
shaping our lives as a tribute to you

not judging just supporting, encouraging us to make our own way
you made us all what we are today
four generations quite a legacy
from child to great great grandchild a real achievement
one we can only hope to match

love from a mother is truly enduring
we will miss you forever in our hearts you remain
85 years was your lifespan, can we really complain
longer would have been better but it was not to be.
rest in peace our dearest from pain be at ease
death dose not take our love away you are in our hearts
and we still feel your presence every day
I know we will all be with you again one day.
