Motivation Poem by Eric Schojan

you and me I feel we're one of those forever things,
nothing in this world can explain the joy your smile brings,
when i look into your eyes it seems a choir of all angels sings,
i only hope that i return all of the happiness you're offering,
but even if i don't you have accepted all my short-comings

when i did not have you i was nothing less than miserable,
you lifted up my heart, proving you truly are a miracle,
an angel from above and i'm not even very spiritual,
but nothing about our love will ever be conventional,
because since i let you in my heart its no longer individual,

a play on words here and there, a rhyme for you to ponder over,
are all that i can offer you, i have found no sort of four leaf clover,
so i hope that when you read these poems the words can make your heart beat slower,
so you know we'll be together untill the two of us are gray and older,
cause you help put these words from pen to page, motivation makes my love much bolder,
and if you ever need to cry on me, i'll always be your crying shoulder.
