Motorway Poem by Josephine Dunn

Motorway

Silver sequins
On a black satin road
Twisting
Into infinity.
Bright lights
On a dark night
Outshine
The stars.

The magic
Of the motorway
Enthrals
Us all,
It’s majesty
And mystery
Increasing awe.
