as clouds roll by
under a moonlite sky
I cannot help but think of you,
your love and wonder why

why have things
come down to this
for i cannot remember
our last kiss

I cannot remember
your loving embrace
the touch of your skin
and the way you taste

much is forgotten
it has been quite a while
though always remembered
is that pretty girl smile

theres a mist in the air
it is somewhat eerie
but before the sun rises
is when I think more clearly

thoughts of love lost
and when we were together,
ways to get you back
I was always so clever

could it be the same,
worse or much better
she'd break my heart again
and of course I would let her.
