Moving On Poem by Gio Masserati

Moving On

Moving on is my middle name

That's right!
They say you have a girlfriend...
Heard it from a friend, who...
You know the song

Like I said,
Moving on!
It's my middle name
Never did much to keep me
Shoulda known
Shoulda known
Dead fish in the sea
Flirtatious indescretions
I never wanta live there
Jealousy
You're into jealousy
I have no rights
My feelings don't matter
Hey! ...but they do

I don't need to justify
No need for validation
I know what I want
I'm tired of lies
Jumping out
Of the moving on bus
Without us

Moving on
Movin on
See me,
I'm waving!

Tell your girlfriend
Thank you!
For doing me a favor
You can call me
Anytime
By my middle name
Moving on...movin on!
