Moving Quickly Poem by Brandon Nothing

Moving Quickly

I want you to close your eyes
And think of a train
One that follows the same track
Day in and day out
It moves between paradise, carrying hungry people in its belly
Such serene power, can you feel it?
Why can’t I my dear?
I want to take the train to the deepest valleys
Under the bridges and beyond the horizon
When I snap my fingers
I will know you
Love my lies
