Mr Caterpillar - Version 2 Poem by Daren Walker

Mr Caterpillar - Version 2

Mr Caterpillar

Mr Caterpillar upon my hedge,
Please be careful on that edge.
Thought I wouldn’t notice you,
All sixteen feet with a noisy shoe.

Are you busy, can you play?
Oh, your friends are waiting, I hear you say.
What’s in your cases may I ask?
They look so heavy, it’s such a task

Please do tell me, I’d love to know,
Which way you’re heading and where you go.
What’s that, a party, I hear you mutter
As soon it will be time to flutter

I’ll let you go, I know you’re busy,
With all your plans, it makes me dizzy.
Mr Caterpillar do come back soon
Please bring your friends, there’s always room.
