Mummy, Mum, Mother Poem by Somniator Moon

Mummy, Mum, Mother

Mummy, Mummy
Please let me out, of your tummy
For nine months, I've grown in this place
Now I just want to see your face

Mummy wipe the tears from your eyes
Understand it's joy in my cries
Now I am finally free
I can see you and you can see me

I still feel safe in your arms
Protected from lifes harms

Mum, Mum
Please don't smack my bum
I was just hungry
Don't be angry

Mum I need some food
Gee you're in a bad mood
Hurry I'm going out
I don't know, about

I still do expect
Me you will protect

Mother
You're a Grandmother
We now have a child
He/she just smiled

We need some time out
Are you going to be about?
I know it's been a while
Works just off the dial

I remember it here
I always felt free from fear...
