Lullabies that helped me sleep in the cradles,
Songs that flew from stories and fables,
Childhood mine filled with melody and hymn,
And I grew up enjoying the beautiful rhyme.
Then it did flash that these were indeed music,
Never knew it would play on my heart a fine magic,
Mesmerizing is it's melody play,
Unto my soul extends its tranquil way.

Seldom was I used to find inner peace,
Chaotic world this, never tends to please,
Music this, makes the path to peace easy,
No luxuries seem to be so cozy.

Instruments few have helped expressed my love for music,
Without which even my dreams seem to end up tragic,
Blessed I am for this gift so wonderful,
Forever I am grateful to the Eternal!
