Musing 52 Poem by shuvo chakraborty

Musing 52

Regretting waves swept its coast conscience
As instincts knocking slept at twilight moment,
Netted at consequence unjust by hunting fate.
Fishermen waited patience all throughout the day
For wheeling the best of their catch before the moon rise.
It knew the high bosom sea in length and breath
And seasoned in all sea currents warm or cold,
Faced the tempests indifference with courage easy
And meet with mermaids numerous and fairies underwater
But trusted its watery root where the trap was laid.
