She feels nothing anymore
She hates the people who crushed her very being
She hates the people who destroyed her soul
The pain kills her from inside
What hurts most is the lies she was told
All along dancing to the tune
Only to wake up one day to reality.

She thought she was over all the odds
She thought she had met the one
She had learned to find comfort in her previous bruises
She had buried all the memories that brought tears in her eyes
She had learnt lo let go what wasn't meant to be
But this time she never saw it coming.

She had finally started to love again
She had come to learn that not everybody wanted to hurt her
She had learnt to trust the journey even when it didn't look safe
She had learnt to put a smile and hide her previous tears
She was on a mission to recover what love had taken from her
But this time, she never saw it coming.

She hoped that everything was a dream
But no, her love life was starting to feel like a test she hadn't studied for
She thought that finally somebody had begun to understand her
She was happy that she would have a best friend like everyone else did
But no, she never saw this coming.
