Mustang Country Poem by John McCornack

Mustang Country

Few miles south of Yukon is Mustang with
Developing subdivisions with defunct farms
This was once a fertile farming community
With wheat fields, horses, plus many barns

With technology, farmers could not survive
To OKC they went to make a decent wage
Building still more homes to fill up the land
But Country Churches remain at this stage
