My Aim Poem by ruth daodu

My Aim

It was a dark night
i could see the moon
far, far, far away.

Like a truck loaded with wood
coming from the west
i walk down salvation road.

I heard church bell somewhere......
i stop to think...
surely it will be midnight

Step by step
i started walking towards
my aim.

From a distance,
i could hear music.
i really don't mind
and i don't think i care.

To hell to whatever
as long as i get to my
bottle of bear.
