My Anatomy Poem by U Win Kyi

My Anatomy

Slender neck and head,
Almost caused me dropp to death.
Long spinal cord and brain,
All my energy was drained.
Crafty hand and feet,
Always caused me loss of sleep.
Puffing lung and chest,
Nearly made me very mad.
Sweet heart was for my girlfriend,
Studying it caused me a bitter end.
Long GI tract had intestines with its coils,
Up to dawn, I had burned the mid-night oil.
Liver, gall bladder and its tract,
Having nightmare as I slept.
Pancreas, spleen and two kidneys,
Reading them was too heavy.
Sex organ was not for a lust,
Oh! it made me very blush.
Oh! my GOD, with dirt, YOU created man so easy,
But for me, studying anatomy was very dizzy.
As the final exam drawing near,
I was sweating with much scare.
All my grades were terrible two,
I would be kicked out according to the rule.
And my morale down to very low,
All I got was harshly scold.
All the teachers concerned for my sake,
They all came to my aid.
With their guidance I studied hard,
With their encouragement I really passed.
And my grade was terrific three,
I was happy with a glee.
'Teacher, thank you, 'was what I wanted to say,
Which was long overdue up to this day.
To the world I declared loud,
'Teacher, of you, I was very proud.'
