My Angel Poem by Joseph McQuade

My Angel

Rating: 4.3

you ask for poetry, all i have are tears
thinking of everything we have missed through the years.
you tore down my walls like they were made of bread
brought me to a cemetary and raised me from the dead.
i was a dead man dancing through pain and strife
with a wink and a smile you brought me back to life.
i wanted to die i was suffocating under a mountain of sorrow
you gave me hope and dreams of tomorrow.
i forgot how to smile, laugh, and to love
you saved me you are MY ANGEL from heave above.
