My Angel Poem by Shel Don

My Angel

You are like an angel, beautiful and pure, my every pains cure.
Draped in white, surrounded by divine light.
Up from the heavens you descended to the earth, a few understood your worth.
Those who did got a glimpse of paradise, a heavenly angel to be precise.
Of those I am one, like you I had seen none.
Lucky I am though, to have you close to me like no one before.
Your deep twinkling eyes, like the stars from overhead skies.
Could stare into them for hours, time could impose no bars.
Your skin so smooth and soft, I would love to touch so oft.
Your hair silkier than silk, softer than condensed milk.
Your sweet scent fills me in and out, like a drug it stimulates me throughout.
Being with you makes me forget everything, makes me want to dance and sing.
The loving look you pass at me, makes me wish it could last for eternity.
The mere sight of your sweet face, makes my heart race.
You make me go weak in my knees, to my happiness you hold the keys
When in my arms I hold you, to reality I bid adieu.
I enter a whole new world, a world in which joy and happiness swirled.
Could stay there forever, to my senses never to recover.
What more could I ask for than the most precious gem in the universe.
no one could buy form their purse!
You are my sweetest dream come true, no more am I left to rue...
