My Angel Poem by Sabrina Tuch

My Angel

The angel lost her gaze they told me,
As the mascara ran down her face.
She let go of love, but held onto hate.
There is no longer any faith in her.

With tears rolling down her cheeks,
And her eyes blood shot,
She only felt pain and suffering.
Love, she couldn't conquer.

As the sky faded from blue to black,
And darkness fills her heart.
Her wings vanished from her back,
Her kindness left her.

Even with all her fighting,
Her dress still faded from
White and happy to black and sad.
She was meant to save.
To help who weren't brave.

But as she looked around,
And saw the marks she left...
Tears rolling down her cheeks,
And her eyes blood shot.
