Men in trench coats, dressed in shadows
Midnight spiders spinning webs
Stalin's henchmen line the gallows
Deaf to pleas of innocence
The floors above betray scuffling sounds
Muffled cries of children screaming
The spiders they have made their rounds
Human rights there had no meaning
Dark days, darker journeys to forgotten jails
Swallowed by a system of men
Siberia the wasteland of frozen hell
A northern train to the bitter end
Frost shines hard on the rails of reality
A one way ride beyond our imagination
A socialist nightmare of heartless insanity
The iron-fisted atheist's cruelest creation
To America and freedom their children fled
With a few tattered photos of loved ones lost
They kneel every night and bow their heads
Forever grateful to those who paid the cost

Very amazing and wise composition is shared to express patriotism. Wishing you very happy Independence day definitely....10
As I am typing this I hear outside the fireworks exploding. Celebrating independence from tyranny, the precious gift of liberty, the possibilities as doors are opened for individuals in a land of freedom. I have moved and lived in much of the United States and I do not know what you hear but I never see racism. I only see people experimenting with new ways to improve the system. There is however a great divide between those like myself that believe in tradition and honor the sacrifices made by our ancestors and then there are those that wish to tear it all day and build a dreamy utopia that has always failed. I side with the optimists, I am strong in this land of the free and we protect that freedom for the sake of our family and generations yet to come. Thank you for the salutation Kumarmani! All my best to you and your loved ones.
