Today I met a friend who knew everything I felt
She knew my weakness and the problems that I've delt
Not once did she inturrupt me or tell me I was wrong
She knew what I was going through an promised she'd stay long
She understood my wonders and listened to my dreams
She listened to my life and love and knew what it all means
I reached out to this friend to show that I care
To pull her close and let her know how much I needed here there
