My Best Friend Poem by Daniel Adams

My Best Friend

I once had a best friend,
But sadly now he's gone.
I didn't want it all to end,
Left here now with none.

We were good together,
Like two peas in a pod.
Bestest friends forever,
An angel sent from God.

You were always there,
When no one else was near.
I thought you'd always care,
My best friend, my dear.

I miss my best friend
It's plain for all to see,
It's driving me round the bend,
Now he's not here with me.
