My Bestfriend! - Poem by Allie Nicole

today i found a friend,
who knew how i felt,
she knew my weakness,
and the problems I've been dealt,
she understood my wonders,
and listened to my dreams,
she listened how i felt,
about life AND love,
and knew what it all meant to me,
not once did she interrupt me,
OR tell me i was wrong,
she understood what i was going through,
and promised she would stay along,
i went to give her a hug,
but then i realized,
that my new best friend,
USED to be my worst enemy,
we couldn't look at each other,
unless we wanted to kill each other,
but something changed that,
it was that we have both realized we both was acting like babies,
but now we know that we have been there for each other all along!
