I wonder from my balcony
From where can I hear this symphony
Then I peep out and see
A sweet canary sitting on the banyan tree
It was looking at me
With eyes as blue and deep as the sea
When I waved Hi!
It chirped Hello! In a loud cry
It came and sat by me
It purely reminded me of Tweety
I wonder how can someone have such a beautiful face
And wings as smooth as a satin lace
I stretched my arm ahead
But it sat on my head instead
I thought that place would be fine
I just hope it could be mine
Then loudly it did chime
Can you tell me what's the time?
As I said that it was seven
Her mother arrived from heaven
She took her by the arm
And I said that I would miss the charm
Since that day she comes to meet me at six
The time of the meet was as if fix
I play with her for an hour
Then at seven she does go far
She is a really good company
I wonder from my balcony
From where can I hear this symphony
