My birthday just another day
Simple celebration to most
Silent happiness in my room alone
I may be the only one this happy
For you just another day
But to me a day wanting to scream to the world I AM HERE
You don't understand my excitement
That's ok I like celebrating such an insignificant day to most alone with maybe a few family members
Go an entire day without losing my smile
Try all you want but it will not go away
I am to happy for this day which only comes once a year
I am sad most days but this one day a year I put aside all my sadness, loneliness, invisibility, and silent tears
I will only be happy today
I will smile
I will show you how much being alive means to me with just one smile and with a sparkle in my eye
